When I was a child

There's a rhyme that was said to me, when I was a child
When I was a child
It was about light of heaven on children's faces
And gentle footprints through their imaginations
Soft story telling of the dusk light
Through mouse curtained window
And crack in the wall metaphors before she falls asleep
Day by day and there's just two lines left...
"Beyond the moon, beyond the sun,
Where all the winds of morning run"
All of that quilted down to two lines
Stitched and stapled down in the root of my brain
Just a thought
But, honestly, I would run from his grave to go back there.
